A Certified Laughter Leader, Diana considers herself quite the expert on gender differences! During a recent opportunity to interview Dr. Phil, McGraw found himself speechless on live television when Jordan asked him "Why do so many painful things begin with the male-gender? Like "Men-opause?"' Blushing, Dr. Phil agreed with her. A psychology major from the University of Oklahoma, the former Miss Congeniality enjoys all opportunities to make people laugh. She has been a featured writer in many magazines including Redbook and Reader's Digest. She has two new books to be released this year and is in talks with a major studio in Los Angeles regarding doing a movie about her father, an officer in the Army, who was poisoned by the enemy and the only one of his Platoon who survived.
Diana was featured in the HBO special "Women of the Night" that spotlighted five top female comedians and also has two feature film roles to her credit including a performance in Sony's blockbuster hit "Jerry Maguire" with Tom Cruise and a co-starring credit in the independent film "Loretta's Surprise" that was featured in the Sundance Film Festival.
Diana began her career in speaking for the corporate world when she realized she wanted to contribute and "pay it forward." Caring for her mother, who battled with emphysema and heart disease over the last four years of her life, created a bond Diana will always remember. Her determination to make her mom laugh dramatically improved her mother's life just as Dr. Patch Adams did with his patients. Diana and her mother both found that you canlearn to have a sense of humor.
