David Knight

David & Kylie Knight have been amazing audiences for over a decade. Their unique and engaging style of performance has made them the entertainers of choice for churches nationwide.

David got his start in magic at the age of 12 after reading a book about the legendary escape artist,Harry Houdini. Throughout high school and into college, David honed his craft by performing around his home town of Dallas, Texas.

While attending the University of North Texas, David saw a performance by world-renowned Christian illusionist and evangelist, Andre Kole. That night, David gave his life to Christ and began his faith journey with God. He was also offered a job to travel with the show. Quickly seizing the opportunity, David spent the next three years under Andre's tutelage where he grew in his faith and learned the value in having a show that is adaptable to almost any situation.

Kylie was born and raised in Melbourne, Australia. Her parents were active members of the church they attended and her mother led the drama team where Kylie developed an appreciation for the stage. After spending 3 years in the medical field, Kylie got the travel bug and found her way to the United States. After a short while she met David at a Bible study in Littleton, Colorado. They married a year later in December, 1999, in Australia.

In 2000, David & Kylie moved to Lynchburg, Virginia to work with six-time "Performing Arts Entertainers of the Year" award winners, Kevin and Cindy Spencer. The Spencer's production, Theatre of Illusion, is praised for it's theatrical elements and cutting-edge illusions, and is one of the largest touring illusion shows on the road today. For seven years, David & Kylie traveled the world with the Spencers as a part of their backstage crew while also performing their own highly-acclaimed three-and-a-half minute spot during the show. During this time, they gained invaluable knowledge on performance, business, and technical theatre.

In 2005, David & Kylie felt a call from God to use the talents that He gave them, and the experiences that they have had to produce an exciting new show for churches. With that call on their hearts, they moved to Lewisville, Texas.

Upon arriving in Texas, they quickly became a part of a local church body called Crosspointe. There, they had the good fortune to be given staff positions and mentoring by pastor David Wahlstedt. Since that time, David & Kylie have taken on greater responsibilities in the church. They helped launch a new outreach by the church called Theatre 166. They spent 5 years in an apartment ministry. In 2011, David completed his Bachelor of General Ministries degree from West Coast Bible College and Seminary.
