Carrie Prejean

Carrie Prejean is a true California girl who was born and raised in beautiful San Diego. Carrie is a huge Padres fan. It is her 4th season now as a member of the San Diego Padres, "Pad Squad". Carrie was crowned Miss Greater San Diego 2007, and is the former MISS CALIFORNIA USA 2009.

Carrie has been modeling for over six years, she has modeled for Target, Saks Fifth Avenue, Bloomingdales, Nordstrom, and has been the face of several campaigns. Carrie was featured on Deal or No Deal as a finalist in becoming a case model. Carrie even modeled for E! Entertainment at the Academy Awards.

Carrie has a passion for people with special needs, whether it's a child with a disability or a grown adult living homeless on the streets. Carrie volunteers for the Special Olympics, as well as a ministry through her church The Rock in San Diego, called "Luv-em-up". A ministry that reaches out to people with developmental and physical disabilities through weekly Bible studies, behavioral counseling, personal empowerment, sharing personal lifestyles testimonies, community service, volunteering on different charity events, interacting with other social groups and just having FUN!

Carrie is an advocate for encouraging healthy lifestyles for young women, promoting healthy eating habits, and the importance of exercising regularly. Since, growing up, prior to pageants, all she knew was sports, she enjoys proving to young women it is okay to be athletic and feminine, and to love the skin you are in. Carrie is passionate about encouraging young people to have a voice of their own and to stand up for their beliefs. She challenges people to be bold, and to engage in debates but show civility and respect. Carrie wants people to remember her as being compassionate and real. She hopes to leave a legacy of hope, strength, and courage. People enjoy being around Carrie because of her high energy and fun personality. Carrie hopes to someday start her own non profit organization.

Carrie has a Chihuahua named "Biggie" who she spends most of her time with. Running on the beach, playing sports, shopping, relaxing, reading a good book, and spending time with her big Italian family, are some of Carries favorite past times. Her friends and family mean the world to her. Carrie is excited to see where her career takes her, but will always remember the people who got her where she is at, and all the love and support she has had over the years. Carrie lives life to the fullest, and is reminded everyday by the verse Philippians 4:13 "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me".
