Academically trained at UCLA in public speaking and human behavior, Balasco established himself as one of America's most talented entertainers. (Incidentally, he also earned team captain honors as a scholarship athlete.) Prior to graduation, Bodine became fascinated with the art of sleight-of-hand magic. He immediately immersed himself in his new-found passion, and, six months later, he was making his living as a professional, sleight-of-hand magician.
