Bob Losure
Former CNN Headline News Anchor and cancer survivor Bob Losure continues his successful keynote and emcee appearances in 2008, moderating the Novartis Pharmaceuticals Conference in Los Angeles and emceeing the Edison Electric Institute Convention in Toronto in June of '08. He hosted a press conference for 200 media members, emceed an awards banquet for 1200, and moderated a question-and-answer session with keynote speaker Carl Bernstein for JCB Excavators in Las Vegas in March of '08. In recent years he's interviewed former CBS newsman Walter Cronkite and billionaire developer Donald Trump at the more than 200 conventions he's keynoted and emceed. Bob Losure's national broadcast career included 12 years as anchor at CNN Headline News in Atlanta, with on-the-scene coverage of such stories as the San Francisco earthquake, Hurricane Hugo, of Panamanian dictator Manuel Noriega’s return to Miami, and the Avianca Airliner crash on Long Island.
A member of the University of Tulsa’s Broadcasting Hall of Fame, he remains in great demand as a speaker and emcee for firms like RadioShack and OfficeMax. His appearances focusing on his own cancer survival story include JFK Medical Center in West Palm Beach in June of '08, as well as keynote speeches for M.D. Anderson Medical Center in Houston, Provena St. Joseph Medical Center in Chicago in '07, San Jose Medical Center in California, and the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville.
