Alicia Williamson Garcia

Alicia Williamson Garcia is a multi-faceted Bible Teacher, Worship Leader, Award-Winning Music Artist, Bible Instructor and Author. She is currently a professor in Worship Studies at the University of Mobile, AL and adjunct instructor in Worship at Liberty University, in Lynchburg, VA. Alicia holds a Master's Degree in Worship Studies with a concentration in Leadership from Liberty University and a Bachelor of Arts in Vocal Performance from Winthrop University in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Alicia's ministry is founded on the Biblical gospel of Jesus Christ through music and teaching. Her award-winning vocals combined with her ability to clearly speak God's truths, have made her a national favorite for ministry, womens, and university events. Alicia has the ability to break down cultural barriers, cut through generational divides and get to the heart of the matter when speaking to her audiences. Alicia has been privileged to partner with many prominent Bible teachers and worship leaders including: Kay Arthur and Precept Ministries, Beth Moore, CeCe Winans, Babbie Mason, Sheila Walsh, The Brooklyn Tabernacle, Dr. Tony Evans of the Urban Alternative, Women of Faith, The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, INSP-host of I-Gospel, and TBN, In Touch with Charles Stanley, The Gaither Homecoming and Food for the Hungry. Alicia joined the contemporary Christian group TRUTH where recorded her signature song,"There Is A Hope." Award-winning artist, Alicia has recorded nine projects; "Glory Now", her ninth album was premiered at a fundraiser with Josh McDowell in February 2012 and includes three songs written by Alicia. She has authored two books Hold Nothing Back - how sacrificial obedience leads to intimacy with God and A Seeking Heart - rediscovering True Worship. In 2002 Alicia and her husband Richard Garcia co- founded IN Worship Ministries located in Mobile, AL, a non-profit ministry whose mission is to help people cultivate a Biblical worldview. Alicia and Richard have two sons Michael and David.
