Philippa Gamse
Biography

A web strategy pioneer, Philippa Gamse has been working with Internet applications since 1991. Philippa is a Professor of Digital Marketing & Social Media at Hult International Business School, and an instructor for the U.C. Berkeley Extension. She is also a Faculty member for Market Motive, a leading global provider of web-based digital marketing training, where she provides coaching, webinars and assessment for business professionals taking Master Certification courses.

Originally from the UK, Philippa obtained a post-graduate qualification in Library Science from University College, London. She has 10 years of corporate experience in Europe, including several years as a consultant for Deloitte, before founding her own US-based consulting and speaking practice in 1995. Her clients have included Hilton Hotels International, Harley-Davidson Motor Company, Goodwill Industries, the American Association for the Advancement of Science, and Hanley-Wood Magazines.

Philippa was the sole featured expert for the cover story on effective web strategies for UPS "Compass" Magazine Fall 2009, distributed to more than 1million businesses. She is a Certified Management Consultant - an ISO-accredited designation recognized in over 60 countries. The second edition of her critically-acclaimed book 42 Rules for a Web Presence That Wins was recently published in a second edition.
