Life is T.U.F.F.

Alan applied what he learned in the military to his battle with M.S..
Life is T.U.F.F. =
T. Target your challenge.
U. Understand all you can about this enemy.
F. Focus! Don't shotgun it but, rifle in on it!
F. Fight. If you don't fight for what you want, you won't get it.

The same principle worked in the entertainment business, his businesses, and personal challenges and it will work for anyone!
If it's worth having, then get TUFF and Fight for it.

"Family Survival In The Entertainment Business"

Alan Osmond shares experiences of his 55+ years in show business; the ups and downs, the positive and the negative aspects of being successful and the price of living to tell it. The chances of having your children survive the entertainment business is risky. Here is what Alan and his family did to do to keep perspective and balance with success while keeping their family values in tact.
Being a successful entertainer is my business but keeping my family alive and well as a husband, father, and grandpa, is my life. This is how we did it!

"I May Have M.S. but M.S. does NOT have ME!"

Alan Osmond is the survivor of primary progressive (keeps getting worse) Multiple Sclerosis. He shares what he and his wife have done to corral the disease and the power of positive thinking and natural remedies have done to help.
Alan shares his motto of "Life is T.UF.F" and explains why he created the slogan and even engraved it on a rock in his yard to always remember that one has to "T", Target his challenge, "U" Understand all he can about it, "F" Focus (Don't shotgun approach but rifle in it), and "F" Fight ...for success. His father told him, "You Can Do It", and it has helped in winning! "You Become What You Think About" so, think yourself well!

"A Mother Is… A Father Is…"

A Mother is many things. When a child scrapes his knee, she is a Doctor. When they are hungry, she becomes a Chef. When stopping fights... she is a Psychologist. She is a creator of life with her husband and the blessings of Motherhood last forever. A mother is a best friend,
'Like Father… Like Son'. Fathers can bless or cause the 'breakdown of the family'. Having a child is easy. Raising them is NOT. "Men need to be men. Have the guts to be their creation." When a young man sees what his father does, he does it, too! This is why the responsibility of fatherhood goes way beyond the cradle and providing, and into mentoring other young fathers yet to be.

Marriage – An Institution For Bringing Up Children

The first commandment that God gave to Adam and Eve pertained to their potential for parenthood as husband and wife.
We declare that God’s commandment for His children to multiply and replenish the earth remains in force today. This naturally only happens between a MAN and a WOMAN who should be legally and lawfully married.
God created all things spiritually before they were created physically upon the face of the earth. We each were predetermined to be a man or a woman before we came here.
The Family is central to the Creator's plan for the eternal destiny of His children. It's God's plan of life and His 'work and glory' is to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man. We are God's children and must love one another. As husband and wife, cherish the power that the two of you have in creating life.

Accept "Who You Are" but remember, "Who You Can Become"

We must not just accept ourselves as "who we are", but to keep in our minds and heart, "who we may become". That's why we came here! The Lord teaches us (scripture) that He "allows us to have weakness" in order to "make us even stronger." It sure is the case with my M.S.. Yes, it is hard to walk sometimes and to do certain things but I never give up and I have been able to live 27 years with this challenge which has made me stronger in many ways. All tests in life can be the same! You either get BETTER or BITTER!

May God Bless America

With Faith We Can Save America!
God's blessings, we must receive.
Let us join together, He will hear our prayers, there's
More of us than they, that believe.

This nation was founded upon Liberty.
No permission to speak out do we need!
We must raise our voices, make known our choices,
Be strong in this land of the free!

In this day which we are living… too many
Take, and forget that they must give. In the
Book it is written, we must never forget…. helping
Others is 'The Way'… we must live. Let's turn our

Hearts to God and to each other. Nowhere
Else may such goodness be found. But if we
All pull together, the sooner the better, we will
Turn this World . . . Around!

May God Bless America!

Strengthening The Family

There are many ways in which we can "Strengthen The Family"
Alan and Suzanne Osmond share ways in which to strengthen families physically, mentally, socially, spiritually, and financially.
Alan & Suzanne both have come from large families where values and hard work with integrity have become some of their most important values. They have published articles and 'helps' at TheFamily.com and their charity, OneHeart.org for 20 years with many of these ways as well as suggestions by experienced educators and top leaders of The Family.

Teaching your Children to Sing

Having both grown up in musical families and raising their own family with music, Alan & Suzanne Osmond share ways to develop a child's pitch, their voice, and a love for music while growing up. A child can feel the vibration and pitch with music and they love to feel the vibrations and pitch variations when you sing to them. They hear higher pitches than lower so sing falsetto voice to them in establishing pitch. Parents should be aware of the opportunity with certain skills to help their children develop a love for music and to participate themselves by learning some tips and getting some training, even if their children are gifted.
