CWK Network will design training and educational programs around topics specific to your school or school district, such as attendance/truancy, parent engagement, obesity, bullying, and more. Training includes research-based strategies for effectively engaging students and parents. Participants also receive a copy of an on-topic half-hour program with Resource Guide and implementation plan. Choose from one or a combination of the following topics for educator, parents, and/or student audiences:

This high energy workshop can be conducted with both youth and adults. It takes a fascinating look at what makes people happy. Surprisingly, it may not be what you think! Participants actively engage in self-reflection, peer-to-peer discussion and activities such as taking inventory of one’s values, behaviors and level of happiness. Participants will leave the session with a heightened awareness of the “happiness factors” and the tools to refresh their own internal value system.

This session, designed for teachers, counselors, parent outreach staff and parents themselves, provides critical information and strategies to facilitate the development of resilience and character among youth. Students show up for school with many risk factors that impact their chances for life long success. This important workshop will provide participants with the knowledge and skills to further students’ ability to succeed in the classroom and beyond, and to do that with a strong sense of character.

This dynamic and interactive training can be conducted with youth and/or adult leaders. Participants are led through the five-step Agent of Change process, which empowers individuals to be positive, effective role models for them selves and their peers, while also improving school climate and culture. The process can be applied to a range of issues, including bullying, character development, health promotion, attendance and more!
