New Polls Suggests Trouble for Obama, DNC

By Scott Rasmussen, Posted January 25th, 2010

rasmussenA new poll from Rasmussen Report shows a continued decline in President Obama's approval rating and a continued include in his disapproval rating. According to the report, "25% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Forty-one percent (41%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -16."

Overall, 47% of Americans say that they at least somewhat approve of President Obama's job performance, while 53% disapprove.

Further findings suggest an increasingly difficult midterm election for the majority Democrats. Some Democratic senators once thought to be safe--such as Indiana's Evan Bayh--are now seen as vulnerable.
