He hit a home run way out of the ballpark!!! The keynote could not have been more perfect for us. People were coming out of the room so charged up with energy and inspiration and commitment that they all felt like supermen and women – like they could teach forever! He helped them remember why they do this work and why it matters. He was worth a million dollars here on Wednesday! September 28th, 2009: We were all very, very pleased with Ron Clark and his keynote address at the recent Risky Business XXII conference held in Des Moines. The audience of teachers, counselors, administrators and other educational professionals who attended our conference gave him rave reviews. His energy level throughout the presentation kept the attention of the audience and his delivery style was outstanding. Again, on behalf of the Iowa Association of Alternative Education and its membership, a big thank you goes out to both Ron Clark and Premiere Speakers Bureau. Everyone here at Discovery Charter School is still talking about Ron's visit. Although I had no doubts that Ron would make a great impression on our group, I must admit that he surpassed my expectations. Our teachers were overwhelmed by his presentation, his personality and charm, his insight and wisdom, his ability as a public speaker, and most of all with his passion for teaching. Ron received 99.3% on his Performance, 99.3% on Presentation Content, 94.5% on Newness of Information, 98.5% on Professional Relevance, and 99.6% on Overall Quality of the Event!!! 98.3% was the average of all of the areas covered on the evaluation. Kim also conducting a breakout session for middle and high school language arts teachers that was terrific. It was all both entertaining and informative. Thanks for your help. I will definitely be seeking your help for next year. Ron was AMAZING!!!! Our event went better than I could have imagined. We had around 1,000 people and I think everyone left with an uplifted spirit and a positive outlook. The reviews we received from our guests were outstanding. In fact our Chamber of Commerce CEO/President sent me a note that stated, "...this was a first-class affair...I can count on one hand the truly great events I've attended and this is one of them..." Thank you for your help with getting Ron to start our year off on the right foot. I would recommend him to anyone. His energy level is second to none. WOW!!! Ron was great! Everyone was thrilled with his presentation. I wish every teacher in the country would have a chance to hear him, especially just before the school year starts. Ron is a great motivator. During my in-service with my teachers today, I have been able to use a lot of what Ron talked about yesterday. His message was a great reinforcement for what I was trying to share with my teachers. He made everyone feel very comfortable and special. He has a special gift and it is wonderful that he is willing to share this with teachers all over the country.
