Atlanta Tribune Inducts Ron Clark Academy Into Its Hall of Fame: "Education Icons"

“To quote Dr. Benjamin E. Mays, ‘Every man and woman is born into this world to do something unique and distinctive and if he or she does not do it, it will never be done” . . . said Ms. Pat Lottier, publisher, Atlanta Tribune:  The Magazine.  “Our HOF inductees have taken unique steps to favorably impact young people inside the classroom and the community.  We are proud to share their stories with the Atlanta community.”

Atlanta Tribune proudly announces the following HOF inductee:

Ron Clark Academy (RCA).  Established in 2007, RCA promotes academic rigor, passion, creativity and increased student engagement to 5th-8th graders.  In each classroom, students have access to notebook computers, interactive whiteboards, digital cameras, projectors and audio video equipment.  Students hail from varied socio-economic backgrounds and RCA data shows that students experience double percentile increases in all subject areas in their first year of enrollment.  RCA has also served as a training module for over 10,000 educators from around the world.

Atlanta Tribune’s Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony is proudly supported by TIAA-CREF, UPS, Atlanta Braves, Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, The Coca-Cola Company, Delta Air Lines, Fulton-DeKalb Hospital Authority, Georgia Lottery and PNC Bank.  Proceeds of this event will benefit the George A. Lottier Scholarship Foundation, which provides scholarships for deserving college students.

The Ron Clark Academy was inducted December 5, 2013 along with three other inductees.
