"I can't tell you how perfect the whole morning was. You did exactly as I'd hoped: you poked fun at Christians and churches (especially Baptists), and generally helped us laugh at ourselves! Even the unchurched enjoyed it and could find some realism in your self-depreciating humor. It helps for Christians to remove the pretense by authenticating our weaknesses and hang-ups in churches...But you didn't stop there. Your well-planned and timely Biblical mesage was right on target--to Christians and non-Christians. It's all about "will I allow Jesus to really impact/change my life for good?" We have been given a great opportunity at Valleydale and don't want to squander it.
