Michelle was AMAZING!!!!! She really connected with the audience – no matter their status. She brought humor, fun and thoughtfulness to a topic that many would view as boring or complicated. Thanks for your participation today in the 10th Annual Thurgood Marshall College Fund's Leadership Institute. Your presentation on "The 5 Steps to Successful Saving" was a real crowd pleaser. Two points that were incredibly impactful were 1) save more than you spend and 2) return those unneeded student loan dollars. Additionally, you made a great connection with the students. Giving them examples that were relevent to the current phase of life peppered with some good "parental advice" that they'll need to make better financial decisions in the future. The foundation, and energy, you established carried over into our breakout session making for very rich dialogue. Several young minds were impacted today by the insights you shared. It was a pleasure to meet you and I hope we might have occasion to work together again in the future. Let me get to the bottom line: Michelle was an eleven on a 10-point scale. She hit the speech out of the park, had the audience revved up to start the conference, and earned very well deserved praise that was voiced throughout the three days.
