Michael Margolis, CEO of Get Storied, is a leading voice in the world of entrepreneurial storytelling. Over the last 15 years, he’s advised leading icons of Silicon Valley, corporate innovation, and global change on how to tell better narratives. He’s a story coach to leaders at Google, NASA, Deloitte, Facebook, Greenpeace, and hundreds of future-forward organizations, big and small. As the Dean of StoryU, Michael produces popular online courses on storytelling for innovation design, change adoption, and personal branding. A pioneer in the field since 2002, Michael speaks regularly at venues including TEDx, SXSW, Zappos, and is an instructor for NASDAQ, General Assembly, and UNSW Business School. The son of an inventor and artist, he’s fascinated with how to translate world-changing ideas into cultural reality.
At the age of 23, Michael received funding from the Rockefeller and Ford Foundations for his work as a social entrepreneur. And by the age of 24 was a startup failure. He’s the author of a #1 Amazon best-selling book, engages with 250,000 fans on Twitter, and is the go-to storytelling trainer for Kauffman Fellows, the world’s top leadership program for venture investors.
