After 15 years as a speaker, Mark "accidentally" fell into stand-up comedy in 2005 after developing his already humorous style with comedian mentors. Performing extensively, Mark’s act is clean which makes him a unique commodity in the stand-up comedy world.
Mark quickly saw the value of enhancing his corporate keynote addresses and presentations on leadership, communication, change management, corporate values and strengths based approach to human resources with humour and interactive comedy techniques. The result is presentations that deliver excellent material that engage, educate and entertain. Such presentations have made him popular with corporate and education clients, with Mark able to customize presentations to suit clients specific needs.
As a straight stand-up comedian, Mark’s comedy material encompasses hilarious takes on current events, as well as picking the day-to-day events of life including marriage, family, politics and work. He is a regular performer on the Brisbane/South East Queensland comedy circuit, performs extensively for public events and private/corporate functions and is a sought after MC and host.
Mark performs at festivals and events, keynote addresses, conferences and seminars; and is a great events Master of Ceremonies.
Mark runs workshops teaching comedy techniques to enhance corporate communications with customers and clients; and to promote office morale and workplace productivity creating what he calls “Seriously Fun” Workplaces.
