Marc Siegel
Marc Siegel, M.D., is a practicing internist, an Associate Professor at the New York University School of Medicine and a fellow in the Master Scholars Society at New York University. He is a senior fellow for the Center for Medicine in the Public Interest.
Dr. Siegel is also a columnist for The Los Angeles Times and a frequent contributor to the Washington Post, USA Today, Slate, and many other publications. His articles are syndicated through Tribune Media Services. He is the author of False Alarm; the Truth About the Epidemic of Fear (top 20 books of 2005 - Discover Magazine) and Bird Flu: Everything You Need to Know About the Next Pandemic.
Dr. Siegel appears regularly on CNN, the NBC Today Show, and the Fox News Channel.
Dr. Siegel was a contributor to the U.S. Senate Finance committee investigation of the 2001 bioterror crisis.
