Juan Manuel Rodriguez

Professor Juan Manuel Rodriguez obtained his undergraduate degree in economics at Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico, (UNAM), 1964-68. He studied a Doctorat d' Universite, 1969-71, at Faculte de Droit et Sciences Economiques at the University of Paris. He also studied Archeology, 1974-78, at the Escuela Nacional de Antropologia e Historia in Mexico City.

Professor Rodriguez returned from Paris to Mexico to work for the Mexican government, working in the Ministry of Public Investment, 1971-74. 1974-2005, he worked for the Center for Latin American Monetary Studies based in Mexico City.

Professor Rodriguez happens to be very interested in Greek Mythology and the Arthurian legends. He speaks fluent Spanish, English, French, and also has working level Italian and German.

He taught statistics related to central banking activities as well as for archeological lab and field work and is currently involved in teaching finance and business operations and statistics. He thinks that education is the most valuable achievement of civilization; Education being an expression of civilization itself.
