
Biography
Ian has extensive and varied experience predominantly in the private sector but including a range of public sector consultancies and a senior public sector management responsibility. Whilst predominantly providing consulting services, he has over the past 19 years taken control of six businesses in trouble and returned them to profitable operation.
Ian has Degrees in Arts (B.A. Qld, 1964) and Economics (B.Ec. ANU, 1969) and has been recognised as a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management, and a Paul Harris Fellow by Rotary International.
Ian's community service includes Rotary International and Guides Queensland (a State Councillor); he is a visiting lecturer at the Relaxation Centre of Queensland. He served on the State Committee of Young Achievement Australia for several years.
