Competing Women
Being the only woman at age 27 in a 240 person 99% male sporting team Dawn didn't think much of it. She had always competed with and against women but the monumental accomplishments of the All Women's America's Cup Team in 1995 opened her eyes to the power of sport in changing the way America treated women. She went on to the lead the Women's Sports Foundation. Listen to her stories which are sometimes incredible, sometimes disheartening but overall triumphant.
