Rwanda... my heart could explode! We are back in this beautiful country again with Cooper for the first time in six years and he is over the moon. We are traveling the whole country with an organization that is so dear to me called Africa New Life.
Zac and I sponsor a little boy named Solomon through their program and we not only had the chance to meet him face to face, but Cooper has a new best friend! But we didn't only fall in love with him- we fell in love with his family. When we were leaving and about to pray, Coop said, "Tell me how to pray in a way that would make your family happy?"
We also had the great privilege of meeting fifteen incredible young adults who are changing their country for the better after being physically and spiritually cared for through Africa New Life's program for years. You can read some of their stories here. Esther Havens is telling the story of adults who were sponsored and what they are doing now. Prepare to sponsor more than one kid after you read!
