Greg Stube's New Show Debuts on Sportsman Channel

Sgt. 1st Class Greg Stube, a highly decorated retired Green Beret, has a new mission in life: taking the values and leadership principles he learned on the battlefield and bringing them home, to pay if forward to the betterment of society. Stube's new television series, "Coming Home with Greg Stube," premiered on June 29 on the Sportsman Channel.

Stube is thankful to be alive after suffering severe injuries in Afghanistan in 2006 when his fighting vehicle was hit by an IED. Even though he was seriously wounded, Stube pulled from his Special Forces medical training and guided his team members in combat trauma care until he could be moved out of danger.

Each episode of his new show will highlight lessons he learned as a Green Beret while taking viewers on hunting and fishing adventures across the country.

"I wake up every day knowing how lucky I am to be alive," said Stube. "Now I want to take the lessons that served me so well in the military and apply it to another one of my passions: the preservation of the great outdoors."
