Chris Silkwood

Chris Silkwood is Founder and Managing Director of Personal Best(tm) Enterprises, a consulting and training firm based in Houston, Texas. A multifaceted professional, Ms. Silkwood is an accomplished trainer, speaker, published author, organizational developer and consultant to corporations, healthcare and academic institutions in both the private and public sectors. Chris Silkwood has lived abroad and worked internationally having returned recently from three years in Australia.

Her client focus is organizational development with a strong emphasis on building relationships, teaching and sustaining effective communication, conflict resolution, coaching and leadership development, managerial performance and personal wellness. Chris Silkwood is sensitive to the individual needs of her clients. She is a caring professional interested in building productive workplace environments, high performance individuals and teams. She has successfully blended contemporary business technologies with extensive personal experience to create a format for corporate training that is powerful, meaningful, and gets the job done.

While in Australia, Chris Silkwood provided training services for BP Amoco, Telstra, the Australian Society of CPA's, Santos, KPMG, Queensland Treasury, Queensland Railroad, Australia Postal Service, Griffith University, Real Estate, Data Base and Retail Firms. In the U.S., some of her clients have included the Shell Oil Co., Marathon Oil, Merrill-Lynch, Columbia, The Kroger Co. Eog Resources, St. Lukes Hospital, Aramco, and Fiesta Mart Inc. In addition, Chris has worked with organizations in Europe and the West Indies.

Chris Silkwood has served as an active member to numerous business and community boards. She has been featured in national publications such as USA Today, American Health, Vogue, Town & Country, New Woman and Family Circle.
