Andy Samberg begins his first season on Saturday Night Live with a series of short comedy films under his belt. He is half of the duo that wrote and created "Lazy Sunday: The Chronicles of Narnia Rap" for the show. This skit became a huge cult favorite overnight receiving hundreds of thousands of hits in the viral world.

Andy Samberg has also appeared on Comedy Central's Premium Blend, Arrested Development on FOX and has been a guest on Late Show with David Letterman and Late Night with Conan O'Brien.

A native of Berkley, Calif., Andy Samberg was one of three LA-based writer-performer-filmmakers (all childhood friends) dubbed "The Lonely Island" whose short films were showcased on the popular "untelevised television network" show and website: Channel 101.com. Some of their popular shorts included the "O.C." parady "The 'Bu" and their full length pilot "Awesometown." Samberg's "Lonely Island" cohorts Jorma Taccone and Akiva Schaffer now write for SNL as well.
