Afterburner Day

The Afterburner Day is an interactive, corporate event program where your team will learn, via lecture and experiential learning, how Fighter Pilots strive for Flawless Execution in every single mission. Your group will work side-by-side with some of America's top Fighter Pilots and learn how they excel in the business of combat. Our Afterburner team brings these lessons to your own business environment, in living color, using a multimedia presentation, a role playing breakout session with experienced military Fighter Pilots as facilitators, and a final hour that many clients say is the best in the business. The Afterburner Day is the perfect event for your kick off meeting, product launch, alignment event or even a merger. The energy and skill training of this event will improve your group's performance at every level.

Here are some of the highlights:

• High energy, fast paced, 4 to 6 hour teambuilding event


• A fun, unique and motivating experience that provides practical, useful tools for your team.


• Led by real U.S. Air Force, Navy or Marine Fighter Pilots (many are still flying in the Reserves).


• Approximately 40% lecture / 60% interactive breakout sessions.


• All speakers and facilitators wear flight suits - an intriguing, innovative way to add interest and credibility to the vast amount of information they impart to your team.


• The Main Briefing Room will be decorated with flags, camouflage netting and parachutes.


• During breakout sessions, your team will be divided into "Squadrons" of 15, a size that encourages direct participation and interaction.


• Each team is given a name (Raptor, Tornado, etc) and assigned a leader.


• The event combines high-energy fun and motivation with solid skills that participants can immediately apply on the job.

Leaning Forward

Leaning Forward is an interactive, corporate event program where your team will learn, via lecture and experiential learning, how Fighter Pilots strive for Flawless Execution in every single mission. This program is for clients that want a high energy, teambuilding program but do not have the required 4 to 6 hours of time necessary for an Afterburner Day event. While the Afterburner Day covers the entire Flawless Execution Model (Plan, Brief, Execute and Debrief), the Leaning Forward Program focuses entirely on Planning and Debriefing.

Here are some of the highlights:

• High energy, fast paced, 2.5 to 3 hour teambuilding event


• A fun, unique and motivating experience that provides practical, useful tools for your team.


• Led by real U.S. Air Force, Navy or Marine Fighter Pilots (many are still flying in the Reserves).


• All speakers and facilitators wear flight suits - an intriguing, innovative way to add interest and credibility to the vast amount of information they impart to your team.


• A decoration kit with flags, camouflage netting and parachutes is available for your use.


• During breakout sessions, your team will be divided into "Squadrons" of 15, a size that encourages direct participation and interaction.


• Each team is given a name (Raptor, Tornado, etc.) and assigned a leader.


• The event combines interactive fun and lasting motivation with solid skills that participants can immediately apply on the job.

Mach 2 Execution

You've been to an Afterburner keynote or teambuilding event. You've got the basics of Flawless Execution, so now its time to take it to the next level. Our introductory programs like the Afterburner Day and Leaning Forward programs focus on the planning and debriefing steps of Flawless Execution. Mach 2 Execution takes you to the heart of our model: Execution.

Using our hallmark blend of multimedia presentation, role playing breakouts and experienced military Fighter Pilots as facilitators, Mach 2 Execution will teach your team the secrets of effective Briefing and Execution in an attention-riveting, real-time simulation of a complex air battle. Our Fighter Pilots will demonstrate that simply developing a "great plan" will not save your skin in the heat of combat or in your business. It takes powerful team communication skills and the ability to stay "on mission" during periods of Task Saturation. Your team will learn these skills and be able to put them to use on Monday morning to improve execution in your company.

The program differs from the Afterburner Day in two key areas. First, while the Afterburner Day focuses on the Planning and Debriefing aspects of Flawless Execution, Mach 2 Execution focuses on Briefing and Execution. Second, the content of the program and the interactive game are all geared for advanced participants that are already familiar with Flawless Execution concepts.
